25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS EVIL : DAY 9 : INSIDE

There are some films set around Christmas that do away with the holiday feeling and replace it with something  much darker. I have always been a fan of European horror and the French have always surprised me with thier interesting and outright twisted visions of terror that have come from thier cinema since the turn of the century.

On Christmas Eve a pregnant woman is plagued by a strange woman who comes knocking at her door. It soon becomes obvious that this woman has a sinister agenda that include stealing her baby, before it it is even born.

The film is downright incredible, it simply rises and rises in tension and the pay off is immense, there are enough twists and turns to keep the remote, one location terror simmering until it eventually boils over. It's not your traditional christmas movie, but it ecrtainly serves as a macabre christmas treat this time of year.
